How to Enter FTP Site Password in Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer 5.x and 6
To log on to a secure FTP site in Internet Explorer 5.x and 6:

Log on to the FTP site of your choice, click OK if you receive an error message, click File, and then click Login As. |

In the User Name box, type your user name, and then press TAB. |

Type your password in the Password box, and then press Login.

Internet Explorer 7 and 8
These instructions are based on free FTP client software called FTP Commander. FTP Commander can be downloaded from
http://www.internet-soft.com/software-download.htm If using another FTP client software, these instructions will not be exact. The principles remain the same and can be easily adapted to any FTP client software.
Start FTP Commander. Go to FTP – Server -> New Server.
Fill in the following boxes as shown:

Click Save.
Click Whitworth Tool on the right hand screen, then click Connect in the upper left corner.

The left side of the screen is your local hard drive. The right side of the screen is the Whitworth Tool FTP site. Files can be transferred between the local hard drive by highlighting files and pressing the arrows in the center.
